The ‘Approved Providers’ Service provides over 65’s with affordable home maintenance and supports, from local trusted community members that want to give back to their community.

How Does The Grocery Service Work?

In Collaboration with Levin New World, we offer a telephone grocery service to our older community who may find it difficult to get to the supermarket and complete their groceries themselves.


We have a team of amazing volunteers who phone clients all week long, weekly or fortnightly to suit.


Our volunteers phone clients on designated days, and take the grocery order over the phone - they then input the order into the New World Online System, so the New World team can pick, pack and deliver the order to the clients door.

What Can I Expect From My Volunteer?

All of our volunteers are interviewed, police vetted and trained by us, to give you peace of mind that you can trust your volunteer 100%. Our volunteers for the grocery service are 'tech savvy' so you can have full confidence that they know what they are doing when inputting your order.


These amazing people are happy to have a chat with client's while they take their orders, and can be a great add-on of social connection to our Visiting Service's.


To keep our volunteers safe, and their privacy protected. Our volunteers phone the clients on their designated day, and are encouraged not to share their personal contact information.

How Do I Get Assessed For This Service?

If you are unable to get to the supermarket, have limited mobility walking around the supermarket, or maybe you've had an accident and need some extra support, then you may be eligible for this service!


If you would like to be assessed for this service, contact one of our team to discuss your personal situation and how we can assist.


We will pop around and visit you, and run you through the steps in getting set-up for this service. Once you have been set-up and assigned a volunteer, you will receive a letter in the mail or by email advising everything you need to know about the service, your volunteer and FAQ's.
