Steady As You Go (SAYGo) Exercise Classes

It’s a great way to have fun, get fit & meet new people!

  • Falls are the most common cause of injury in older people.
  • Falls can lead to a significant loss of mobility and quality of life.
  • One third of people over the age of 65 fall each year!
  • Falls in older people are usually associated with weakened leg muscles and poor balance.
  • Falls do not have to be a ‘natural part of ageing’ & are DEFINETLY preventable!

Where: Age Concern office - 526 Queen Street East, Levin

When:

  • Monday: 11am-12pm and 1:30-2:30pm
  • Tuesday: 11am-12pm and 1:30pm-2:30pm
  • Wednesday: 1pm-2pm
  • Thursday: 1:30pm-2:30pm


Where: Masonic Village - 685 Queen Street East, Levin

When: Tuesday: 1:30pm-2:30pm


Foxton Class:

Where: Te Awahou Masonic Village - 79 Main Street, Foxton

When: Wednesday 1.30pm


Shannon Class:

Where: St David's Union Church - 21 Stout Street, Shannon
